Larve this! Every Aussie I have ever met has been—hands down— friendly, fun, and completely my kind of person. 😎

I'm so glad! I guess it's probably like any country, there are some dickheads, but generally we try to be a friendly and chillaxed bunch! We always say, 'no worries' in Aus or 'too easy', which means it's not a problem - and that's how we try to live. :)

We’ve fully adopted '“no worries” in the U.S., so you’ve made a big change to American English (the Brits would not agree we speak English at all :-). I really like “too easy” and am going to adopt and start using it!

I don't think the Brits would think we speak English either! lol

Haha nope, they lost complete control of Received Pronunciation a very long time ago. Well, you throw your people on a ship to the other side of the world, and things are going to happen. We’re pretty badly behaved, all of us! 😈 😆

So glad you included 'no wuckin' furries', Lisa. It's a personal favourite of mine, as well as it's abbreviation 'no wucks!' It combines the sweariness and the tendency to shorten that you mention in your article.

Another great post. I shared "I'm not here to fuck spiders" with a colleague and it made their day.
